We have located this waterfall and have a trip to it planned
within the next few weeks. Technically unnamed, we have
dubbed it the Tamarack Creek Falls, because of its location.
This waterfall is located off the Youngs Road in the village of
Star Lake. There is a convenience store on the corner where
this road meets NYS Route 3. More specific directions, as
well as pictures and additional info will be posted once we have
been there.
The Tamarack Creek feeds the Little River. Please note
that there are two Little Rivers in St. Lawrence County. The
other one is in the Canton area and is a tributary of the Grasse
River. This one empties into the Oswegatchie River which flows to the St.
Lawrence River in Ogdensburg.
