 As mentioned in our account of Alder Creek Falls #2,
#3 is just upstream. You don't have to go back
to the trail but you do have to work around the landscape a
bit to get up to Falls #3.
Alder Creek flows into Schroon River.
This flows through Schroon Lake which joins the Hudson River
just southwest of Warrensburg. This, in turn, flows to the
Atlantic Ocean in New York City directly to Lake
Champlain.
